Rock out to Brooklyn-based The National and Portland trio Menomena and help support food co-ops and their suppliers.

The National Cooperative Grocers Association (NCGA) is hosting a benefit concert for the Cooperative Disaster Relief Fund, a fund set up in 1997 for cooperatives that incur damage from natural disasters.

This year early summer floods in the Midwest left many co-op suppliers — particularly small family farmers — emotionally, physically and financially devastated. Proceeds from the concert will go to the fund to help assist these impacted farmers.
